Sutton United is a fully functioning football club complete with stands, pitch and clubhouse, all still within Greater London. There’s a fully operational bar, generous parking and even an authentic burger van. This was actually mine and Sam’s (my sister’s) local team, and we spent many a night there at the teen discos. If you’re looking for the real deal, this is it.
Another great football location is Mayfield - CR0, a non-league stadium in Croydon with a small stand, a perfect grass pitch, and authentic changing rooms and bar areas available for filming.

This is another brilliant football-themed setting. Alongside the football pitch and bar, the venue also houses a snooker club, cricket club and bowls club — ideal if you’re after a traditional British sports backdrop.
