We’re celebrating seven wonderful years of Love Locations — a business built on family, friendship, and a shared love of creativity. What started with a passion for sourcing inspiring shoot spaces has grown into a vibrant creative community. Meet Sam and Jacob — the mother-and-son duo behind the scenes — pictured here with Jason, our brilliant digital advisor and the tech wizard behind our website. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our clients, creators, and location owners. Thank you for being part of our journey! This year also marks a new chapter with the opening of Brixton Warehouse, our very own studio and new HQ. Designed as a South London creative hub, it’s already hosted shoots, workshops, music events, and some epic parties. About Us
We are family - mum & son.
Sam has worked in the industry for over twenty years, originally as a model booker and then transitioning into shoot production at Racing Green. She has headed up shoot production at creative and advertising agencies, working with clients such as M&S, John Lewis & House of Fraser, to name a few.
Jacob grew up on shoots and eventually moved into production, working at creative agencies and studios around London. Jacob is also an artist, so the studio has become his musical home. He originally trained as a graphic designer at the local BRIT School and UAL.
Following in the family footsteps, he began a career in the creative industry, and the rest is history.
Together, we have lovingly sourced and curated an amazing collection of locations, spaces and event places that we love for shoots, films and events and happenings.
Our New Studio Space
Did you know we’ve also taken on our own studio - Brixton Warehouse - which is also our new HQ? So if you’re passing by, come and say hello!
After working in the creative industry for so long, we realised there was a longing for a studio space in South London. We sit amongst some great ones, but demand is high. If you’re based in South London, it’s a relief not to have to trek to the east. With so many studios closing, it’s a welcome addition.
Our dream was to create a creative hub for shoots and events. We have a great mix of local creators and makers, music events, brand launches, wellbeing workshops, and some plain damn good parties.
How We Discovered the Studio
Sam was looking for a new venue to teach her established Yoga South classes, and she happened to do a life drawing class the night the last owners were moving out of the warehouse. Things were meant to be!
We moved in a few weeks later and decided to love the location and set up a studio space there. So Yoga South has a new home, and we’ve also launched life drawing at Brixton warehouse life drawing too - if you have an artistic streak, check us out!
